Math Department Fees

There is a $20.00 math department fee which will be used to buy necessary supplies during the school year.  Thank you for your help with this.

The newly adopted math textbooks are consumable.  That means they are paperback and will not be reused by students from year to year.  Therefore, students may write in the book, take notes, underline, etc.  Because these books are not as durable as traditional hardback textbooks, it is important that students take care of their books.

At the beginning of the year, each student will be issued a book.  It is the student's responsibility to bring that book to class each day.  If a student loses his/her assigned book, it will be necessary for the student to pay for a new book before one can be issued to him/her.

The teacher has a classroom set of TI-84 graphing calculators which can be used by students during class each day.  Each student will be assigned a specific calculator number to use and will be responsible for the care and use of that calculator during class, as well as for the return of the calculator at the end of class.

A student who damages a calculator or fails to return a calculator will be responsible for replacing it with a TI-84 Plus calculator.
